Flight Jacket Shell Options
Nylon Flight Satin: Commonly used for classic MA-1 constructions. Weight, color and surface finish can be selected according to the design.
Polyester & Woven Shell Options: Polyester twill and other woven fabrics can also be developed for different hand feel, weight and end use.
DWR Finish: Available where light water repellency is required.
Lining & Material Options
Quilted Lining: Diamond or horizontal quilted lining can be developed with different padding weights according to the required warmth.
Padding Options: Customizable polyester insulation thickness matching seasonal warmth requirements.

MA-1 Manufacturing Control Points

Building From an MA-1 Reference

Development can start from a tech pack, reference sample or design artwork.
During sampling, we confirm the shell fabric, rib, lining, front zipper, sleeve pocket and patch positions against the buyer's requirements.
Once the sample is approved, the confirmed sample and specifications become the reference for bulk production.

Sleeve Pocket & Patch Placement

Patch position is checked on the actual garment panel, not from the artwork alone.
The sleeve utility pocket position is confirmed during sampling and compared with the approved sample during bulk production.
Patch and embroidery size, position and artwork are confirmed before bulk production starts.

Rib & Front Zipper Appearance

Rib color, stripe pattern and width are confirmed during sampling according to the design.
At the front opening, we check zipper position and the finished height of the left and right sides.
The approved sample is kept as the production reference when the style moves into bulk sewing.
