Shell & Finish Options
Nylon & Polyester Shells: Common choices for lightweight bomber jackets. Fabric weight, hand feel and surface finish can be selected around the intended season and use.
Wind-Resistant Woven Fabrics: Tightly woven shell fabrics can be sourced for bomber jackets that require better wind protection.
DWR Finish: A water-repellent finish can be added when protection against light rain and surface moisture is required.
Lining & Insulation
Taffeta or Satin Lining: Suitable for lightweight bomber jackets where a smooth interior and easy layering are preferred.
Quilted Lining: Available for styles that require more structure or additional warmth.
Polyester Padding: Padding weight can be adjusted according to the target season and required warmth.
A thicker jacket is not automatically better at blocking wind. The shell construction matters more. For wind-resistant bomber jackets, we normally look at the fabric weave and density first, then the weight and surface finish. Tightly woven nylon and polyester are common choices. If light rain protection is also needed, a DWR finish can be added to a suitable shell fabric.

Measurements, construction, fabric and trim details are checked during sampling.
Revisions are made against the tech pack, reference sample or buyer comments. Once the sample is approved, the confirmed sample and specifications are used for bulk production.

Rib width and elasticity, pocket position, zipper alignment and panel measurements are checked during sewing.
Reinforcement can be added around pockets and other stress points when required by the construction.

Finished jackets are checked against the approved sample and order specifications, including measurements, stitching, rib attachment, zipper installation and visible defects.
Send us the tech pack, reference sample or product photos. We can review the shell fabric, lining, rib, zipper and construction details before making the sample.
A1: We normally confirm the shell fabric, lining, rib specification, zipper and hardware, pocket construction, branding placement and finished measurements before sampling. If a tech pack is not available, a reference sample or clear product photos can also be used for the initial review.
A2: Tightly woven nylon and polyester are the most common choices. We select the specific fabric weave, density, weight, and surface finish based on the target season and intended use of the jacket.
A3: Yes. We offer lightweight, quilted, or padded constructions depending on whether the jacket is intended for transitional seasons or colder weather.
A4: Not necessarily. A tightly woven shell can provide wind resistance without being fully waterproof. If the jacket also needs protection from light rain, a DWR finish can be added according to the intended use.
A5: Yes, a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish is available as an optional treatment for the outer shell to shed light moisture, though it does not make the garment completely waterproof.
