Bonded Softshell Construction
3-Layer Bonded Softshell: Face fabric, waterproof/breathable membrane and brushed fleece or other backing materials can be laminated into one construction. The combination is selected according to the required waterproofness, breathability, stretch and warmth.
Stretch Performance: Spandex-blended or mechanical-stretch face fabrics can be selected for jackets that require greater freedom of movement.
Wind Protection: Fabric density, membrane construction and lamination can be adjusted according to the intended level of wind protection.
Material & Finish Options
Recycled Polyester: GRS-certified recycled fabric options can be sourced for projects with specific sustainability requirements.
PFAS-Free DWR: PFAS-free durable water-repellent finishes are available for projects where this is required by the buyer or target market.
Brushed Fleece Backing: Fleece weight, texture and surface finish can be selected according to warmth, hand feel and pilling requirements.
01 Tech Pack & Pattern Review Measurements, construction, fabric, seam requirements and size grading are reviewed before sampling.
02 Fabric Inspection & Cutting Fabric condition, direction and stretch are checked before approved patterns are released for cutting.
03 Sewing & Assembly Panels, pockets, zippers and other components are assembled according to the approved sample and construction specification.
04 Seam & Functional Construction Control Stitch density, seam construction, zipper installation and reinforcement points are checked against the approved sample. Seam sealing is applied where specified and compatible with the selected construction.
05 Inline & Final Inspection Measurements, workmanship, appearance and functional details are checked during and after production.
06 Needle Detection & Packing Finished garments are checked and packed according to the confirmed packing requirements.

We manage fabric sourcing, pattern development, sampling, sewing, inspection and packing through our production team. Direct communication between development and production helps keep the approved specifications consistent when an order moves from sample to bulk.
MOQ starts from 100 pcs per style/color, subject to fabric and trim requirements.

Stretch, membrane performance, fleece backing and garment construction need to work as one system. We review these combinations during development according to the jacket's intended use and target performance.
Needle size, thread and machine tension are adjusted according to fabric thickness, stretch and laminated construction to control seam puckering and distortion.
Stress points such as pocket openings, zipper ends and adjustment areas can be reinforced according to the approved construction.

Bulk production follows the approved sample, measurement chart, fabric specification and confirmed construction details.
Inline inspections focus on measurements, seam appearance, panel alignment, zipper installation and other agreed quality points.
Finished garments undergo needle detection before packing according to the confirmed inspection requirements.
Send us your tech pack, reference sample or product images. We can review the intended use, fabric construction, membrane, fleece backing, waterproof target, seams, zippers and trims before recommending a suitable construction for sampling and quotation.
Answer: Waterproof softshell jackets commonly use polyester or nylon face fabrics laminated with a waterproof/breathable membrane and an optional brushed fleece backing. Stretch can come from spandex content or mechanical-stretch construction. The final fabric structure should be selected according to the required waterproofness, breathability, warmth and mobility.
Answer: Yes. We support OEM and private label production based on tech packs, reference samples or product concepts. Customization can include fabrics, colors, logos, labels, sizing, zippers, trims, packaging and performance requirements.
Answer: Our standard MOQ starts from 100 pieces per style/color. Final MOQ depends on fabric availability, color requirements, trims and the level of customization.
Answer: Samples usually take 7-10 working days. Bulk production usually takes 35-50 days depending on material availability, order quantity and construction.
Answer: Softshell jackets are generally designed to balance stretch, breathability, wind resistance and light weather protection. Hardshell jackets prioritize waterproof and windproof protection, normally using waterproof membranes together with seam-sealed construction. Softshell is commonly selected for active outdoor use and workwear where mobility and comfort are important, while hardshell is more suitable when sustained rain protection is the priority.
Answer: Yes. We can review an existing sample, tech pack or reference design and develop the pattern, fabric construction, membrane, trims and fit accordingly. A sample is produced for approval before bulk production.
Answer: Not necessarily. A waterproof-rated softshell fabric does not automatically make the finished jacket fully waterproof. Finished-garment performance also depends on seam construction, seam sealing, zipper design and other openings. If sustained rain protection is required, these points should be defined during product development and verified on the finished garment.
