Shell Fabric Options
Polyester Shell: Available in different weights, weaves and surface finishes for outdoor, workwear and uniform programs.
Nylon Shell: Used where a lighter hand feel, different abrasion performance or lower garment weight is required.
Membrane or Coating: Membrane and coated constructions can be sourced according to the buyer's target waterproof performance and application.
Fleece & Finish Options
Fleece Lining: Different fleece weights, colors and surface finishes can be selected according to climate, season and required warmth.
DWR Finish: Water-repellent finishes can be specified for the outer shell according to project requirements.
PFAS-Free Options: PFAS-free DWR options can be sourced when required by the buyer or target market.
01 Tech Pack & Specification Review Fabric, waterproof requirements, fleece lining, measurements, seam construction, zippers, trims and branding details are reviewed before sampling.
02 Fabric Inspection & Cutting Shell and lining materials are checked before cutting. Fabric direction, defects and key panel positions are confirmed before sewing.
03 Shell & Fleece Assembly Shell panels and fleece lining are assembled according to the approved sample. Lining position, seam bulk and zipper alignment are checked as the garment comes together.
04 Waterproof Construction Control Seams, zipper installation, hood construction and pocket openings are checked because these areas can affect finished-garment weather protection. Seam sealing is applied where specified and compatible with the selected construction.
05 Inline & Final Inspection Measurements, workmanship, lining position, zipper function and confirmed construction details are checked during and after production.
06 Needle Detection & Packing Finished garments are inspected and packed according to the confirmed packing and quality requirements. Needle detection can be arranged where required.
Development normally starts from a tech pack, reference sample or product images. We review the shell, fleece lining, fit, waterproof construction, zippers, pockets, trims and branding before the first sample is made.
Once the sample is approved, the confirmed sample, measurements and material details become the reference for bulk production.
Shell weight and fleece weight need to work together. A lining that is too heavy for the selected shell can affect garment drape, fit and seam appearance.
During sampling, we pay particular attention to lining position and excess bulk around zipper edges, cuffs, hem, hood and pocket openings.
For waterproof programs, seam design, zipper construction and seam-tape compatibility are reviewed together with the selected shell fabric.
Bulk production follows the approved sample, measurement chart, BOM and confirmed material specifications.
Inline checks cover measurements, seam appearance, fleece position, zipper alignment, pocket construction and the waterproof-related points confirmed during sampling.
Final inspection is completed before the garments are packed for shipment.
